What we stand for

  • We advocate for equal rights and opportunities for all, striving to dismantle systemic barriers that perpetuate inequality and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people.

  • We celebrate diversity and create spaces that are welcoming and affirming for people of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations.

  • We work towards a society where justice is accessible to all, advocating for fair treatment under the law and addressing systemic injustices.

  • We empower individuals to advocate for themselves and others, fostering a culture of activism and community engagement.

What we do not support

  • We condemn all forms of discrimination, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia. We believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, and we reject any ideology or action that seeks to undermine or diminish that dignity.

  • We do not tolerate hate speech or rhetoric that promotes violence, discrimination, or harm against any individual or group. We believe in fostering respectful dialogue and constructive engagement.

  • We reject bigotry in all its forms, including prejudice based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other characteristic. We believe in building bridges, not walls, and in finding common ground through empathy and understanding.

  • We stand against systemic injustices that perpetuate inequality and marginalisation, advocating for systemic change that addresses the root causes of injustice and oppression.

Condemnation of bad behaviour

While we advocate for equality and justice, we recognise that bad behaviour can occur on all sides of an issue. We condemn any actions or rhetoric that seek to harm or discriminate against others, regardless of the source. We believe in holding ourselves and others accountable for upholding the values of equality, integrity, and respect.

Following this, Equality Amplified will not engage with bad-faith actors who seek to create conflict for the sake of conflict. In online spaces, this includes sock accounts or accounts set up to farm hate against minorities.
