On the 25th July 2024, along with the Feminist Gender Equality Network (FGEN), we wrote to Angela Rayner, Deputy Prime Minister expressing our deep disappointment regarding her statement on June 7th, as seen in a Channel news segment, claiming that J.K. Rowling supports trans people, and explaining the importance of considering trans voices when discussing trans issues.
